little girl finally got over her ear infections-- thank God they were only "mild"-- so we were definitely on for our Denver trip. traveling without Ryan, or anyone else for that matter, caused me very much anxiety. anxiety that, in the end, was definitely not needed. I ended up sitting next to a very nice woman named Diane, whose daughters live in Denver. Diane shared with me that she had her kids when it didn't matter where you nursed. She said she was very much a rebel in the sense that she didn't care who saw what and if they didn't want to see anything they could help themselves and turn away. I wonder how women like that do it.
Public nursing is sooo not my strong point... And I doubt I will ever actually feel comfortable doing it outside of my home. I envy those women who don't care. I know I care too much. I wish I didn't, but I don't ever see myself being less anxious. Calm and collected will never be an adjective used to describe me.
We're glad we made it to Denver and back home safely. The houses we looked at with my parents were wonderful and it's good to know that they'll have a place to call home come March!
I'm so glad were able to go visit family out of state like we have been these past few months. And thanks to Ry for being a trooper while we were gone for a week... I don't know how he managed without us ;)
Francesca's six months. No words. It's all so surreal. Thinking back, or even looking back through all of her pictures... I know I say this a lot, but seriously- six months already?!

six months young |
Franc's six month appointment was yesterday and she is developing wonderfully! She now weighs a whopping 14.5lbs. No wonder my arms feel more toned... and why I almost break my back every time I lift her car seat from the car! Her head is definitely a Kerr head- big just like her daddy. And she is average in length! We need to get working on the whole sitting-on-her-own thing. THAT is this months goal!
cheers to staying young and relaxing.
